B.A.D.A.R.S.  CONTEST GROUP

At Braintree & District A.R.S we have a small but dedicated contest group that not only enter some of the RSGB series of contests but also have a presence in some of the more major outings Like SSB Field Day and VHF Field Day

Our contest site is in the small rural village of Stisted just a few miles to the east of Braintree. The site is reasonably well elevated and surrounded by countryside, this gives us a relatively QRM free site from which to operate.

Of course during the Lockdown of 2020 none of the events were run at the site however 2021 saw the resumption of contesting albeit with restricted numbers of helpers and operators being on site.

We are hoping to be more active in the 2022 season and would welcome anyone that would like to come along and see what we doing for the contests and of course have a go at operating or logging if they wish.
